Mick Pentney Memorial Trophy: Oulton Broad 13/09/09

The final club event of the season took place at Oulton Broad on a chilly and breezy Sunday afternoon.
The hydroplane drivers were racing for the famous Mick Pentney memorial trophy that was eventually won by Peter Rix who was competing with one of Mick's old hydroplanes. Read full story here.
Oulton Broad Club Meeting: Gala Day 31/08/09

The Area 31 Racing Team went nostalgic for the day and competed with the 1964 500cc Crescent powered classic hydroplane outfit for the first time this season.
The team got the Crescent engine running the best it ever has since its restoration and are looking to improve further before the final club meeting of the season. Read full story here.
Oulton Broad Club Meeting: 06/08/09

On a bright summers evening the hydroplane drivers were competing for the Alan Darby trophy at Oulton Broad.
Area 31 Racing driver David Jones took two race wins and a second position to take the trophy home for the Area 31 Racing Team. Read full story here.
