The penultimate club meeting of the season took place on gala day at Oulton Broad with some exciting racing between a good entry of outboard hydroplanes.

The Area 31 Racing Team finished third overall at the final Thursday night race meeting of the season at a very wet Oulton Broad.
Team driver David Jones was unable to make up the 1 minute 50 seconds handicap despite putting in some good consistent lap times. Read full story here.

The Area 31 Racing Team along with eight other outboard hydroplane drivers were competing for the Redex trophy at the latest club meeting at Oulton Broad.
Two race wins from the first two heats put the Area 31 Racing Team driver David Jones in pole position to take the silverware home but disaster struck in the final heat. Read full story here.
Oulton Broad Club Meeting – 7th July 2011

The Area 31 Racing team finished second overall and took home the Mike Snowling Memorial Shield for the highest finishing outboard hydroplane on a night of close handicap racing at Oulton Broad.
