The Area 31 Racing Team have been working hard in preparation for the 2010 season and thought they would share what they have been up to since the finish of the 2009 season.
The Team would like to thank the Lowestoft & Oulton Broad Motorboat Club for organising the end of season dinner and dance awards night which was a successful evening for the team picking up the following awards for their performances throughout the 2009 Season.

Team driver David Jones would like to thank everyone who voted for him to become the club members driver of the year.
In the pits the team have been busy trying to complete the third restoration project throughout the winter with the view of re launching the Rebuilt Popoli back onto the water in 2010. Its been a long project trying to replicate the original Popoli design the team competed with during the 1990's. Some of the shapes of the bottom of the hull and the sponsors were very deceiving to the human eye.
Finally the team have added some video footage of classic hydroplane racing from the 1980's to help all you powerboat fans relive some memories while we wait for the 2010 season to start. click on the links below or visit the multimedia section to view them.
