5 Port 500cc Konig Powered Cabover
The following three videos are footage of Area 31 Racing competing with a 5 port 500cc Konig powered cabover hydroplane.
The footage was taken during August 2008 and shows driver David Jones competing at Oulton Broad. The first race shows David trying to keep in touch with Carl Wiggs powerful 500cc GRM hydrocat outfit until engine failure ended the race. Race two sees David dancing the Konig powered hydroplane around Oulton Broad while the third race shows the spectacular sight of the engine cowel flying off during the fourth lap.
