1964 500cc Crescent Powered Hydroplane Relaunch
The following two videos are footage of Area 31 Racing relaunching the 1964 500cc Crescent powered Schultze style hydroplane which was the teams first restoration project..
The footage was taken during August 2007 and shows driver David Jones competing with the restored hydroplane outfit at Oulton Broad on a glorious sunny day. Unfortunately the Crescent engine suffered a split gear box and was only able to compete in two races.
